We were able to keep the rustic feel of this 1880s-era farmhouse using maple Brighton Cabinets and granite counter tops. The original beams of the house are still incorporated in the design of the new kitchen. The modern-looking tile behind the cook top is complemented by the barn siding behind the sink to give it a nostalgic feel, while still having the amenities of a new space.
