Our clients on this project wanted their home to feel like a log cabin, and also wanted a way to use a unique wood carving as a centerpiece in their home. We used split logs on the walls of the room and then built a custom hand rail system with rough cut timber which we pre-finished. The fireplace mantle incorporates the clients wood carving and we fabricated floating wood shelves to go on either side of the fireplace.
