I helped these delightful home owners select interior wall colors, and fireplace, floor, and wall tile for their new (2007) three level open plan home. I combined wood with tile in the kitchen to satisfy her wish for tile floors and his wish for wood floors.

I created a floor tile band at the two story wall of windows so that plants can enjoy the sun there without harming the wood floor. The home owners selected an inlaid wood and brass compass as a focal point on the stair landing.

Rich earth and mineral toned tiles wrap the fire place. On the right you see the start of a tile strip that lines the two story window wall. I created the strip so that plants can enjoy the sun without harming the wood floor.
