This cute little space was tons of fun to work with! Being that we were lacking in square footage, we had to get creative by constructing a usable area under the stairs for the children to play. When your less than 3 feet tall this tiny space can double as a soft nook where the kids can keep the creativity going. We incorporated a custom lighting solution to add a touch of whimsy and excitement to the space. Playing off of the gray and white striped walls, we brought in nautical touches with a navy rug and seating poufs wrapped in yachting rope. We finished the space with flags depicting sailing symbols. A play table and stools made from weathered wood and touches of navy tied in the theme throughout. Bon Voyage!
