San Clemente Seaside Kitchen

This San Clemente kitchen remodel focused on reworking a dated space into something that feels layered, functional, and quietly timeless without changing the existing footprint.

As the clients had recently updated their flooring the goal was to make the kitchen work better through thoughtful cabinetry design, detailing and smarter use of what was already there without changing the floorplan. Custom cabinetry was designed to bring in both character and order, with integrated organizational features including rollout shelves, dedicated pots and pans drawers, and storage that feels intuitive in daily use.

The palette stays soft and grounded, built on warm whites, tans and subtle tonal variation that keeps the space feeling calm but not flat. Cabinet detailing adds a sense of structure and permanence, while the marble surfaces introduce movement and a natural element that doesn’t compete with the rest of the room.

Unlacquered brass hardware and polished nickel plumbing fixtures were selected to evolve over time, adding a lived-in quality that aligns with the home rather than feeling newly installed or overly polished.

The result is a kitchen that feels considered and personal. It has character, but nothing feels forced or overly designed. For homeowners in San Clemente and across Orange County, this type of renovation reflects a common priority: improving how a kitchen functions and feels without taking on a full structural overhaul.
