When Our client Kate and John contacted us in regards to their relatively small kitchen we were excited to help them sketch out some ideas.

They wanted the kitchen to be a place where the whole family could enjoy. They needed a breakfast table big enough for two teens to do homework on.
They also wanted to have their office nook close to the kitchen area.

We had to get approvals for the removal of one wall. Once the permit was retrieved, we continued to move forward with the vision Kate and John originally had of a spacious kitchen.

By giving the kitchen a contemporary two toned accent, it allows for the kitchen to have its own character and eccentric touch. The warm wood finishing touches give the kitchen the homey feeling the clients had been asking for.

The contemporary gray island is topped with the marble countertop. While Paired with wooden stools and the end wooden table for the teens homework and breakfast area.

We added beautiful impact proof doors that make the natural light a huge plus for the kitchen of our clients dreams!

Besides the marble countertops on the island we also added a quartz countertops and concluded with a subway tile backsplash. The light fixtures we decided to go with were canister led lights and three hanging light fixtures. This gives the right amount of light needed in a kitchen.

Before we could finish pairing Kate wanted to have a chalkboard wall where the kids could write on and she could suggest chores to her two kids!

As far as the clients office nook in the kitchen, this was made possible by using our custom built cabinets to modify to the measurements to which the clients thought was fit.

All in all this project took 4 months to do in regards to demo and to the approvals from the city and shipping of materials.
