Sanchez Two
This 1903 Queen Anne Victorian Cottage had a single family in it from 1920 to 2009, but for the last 5 years of that, it lay vacant. eco+historical undertook a gut rehabilitation of the property from 2012-2013 to transform it from a compact 2BR/1BA to a 5BR/3.5BA contemporary family home that looks little different from the street than it did for its first century (albeit cleaner). While making the house systems state-of-the-art and opening up the floor plan, a traditional feel was maintained to keep the warmth of this historic home. This house received LEED Platinum Certification from the US Green Building Council in 2013.
