The project is located in Sandy Springs, GA. This is the second residence our firm has designed for this family. Due to easement restrictions, we kept the main frame of the house and made slight additions to the main floor. We built an entirely new second floor. All new flooring, tile, paint, and light fixtures throughout created a completely updated house in a transitional style. We added architectural elements of ship-lap, cedar beams,and barn doors. The clients prefer a simple palette of gray and white so we kept the color scheme consistent throughout using only neutral colors. The clients were heavily involved in the planning to the final concept of the design as well as material selections. It was a fun and rewarding experience to work with our clients again on their second home!
