Converting Clinton Day's 1899 neoclassical mansion from apartment to single family occupancy entailed extensive remodeling of its 14,000 square foot interior, recreation and extension of numerous period details, and the introduction of an entirely new three story elliptical main stair hall crowned by a 60 square foot stained glass window.
