Potomac, MD Zuri Screened Porch with Cable Handrails — Montgomery County

Design Builders completed this transitional-style screened porch and deck rebuild in Potomac, Maryland, Montgomery County, replacing an aging screen room and deck with a fully low-maintenance outdoor living system designed around a poolside setting.
The screened porch features a shed roof with a white-painted ceiling, SCREENEZE screening system panels, and two Minka-Aire designer ceiling fans with integrated lighting for evening use. Zuri pecan deck boards cover both the porch floor and the open deck, contrasting with white vinyl trim and complementary stained hardwood latticework throughout. Stainless steel cable handrails provide modern sightlines across both levels. Two custom staircases with graspable handrails and Larson storm doors provide entry to the elevated screen room.
Gutters, soffits, fascia, and asphalt shingles were installed to match the existing roofline as part of the complete rebuild scope. The screened porch sits adjacent to the property's pool, providing insect protection during Potomac's warmer months without sacrificing views of the surrounding landscape.
Design Builders holds Maryland MHIC license #93361 and serves Montgomery County communities including Potomac, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Rockville, and North Potomac.
