A seaside farmhouse was designed as a retreat to the tranquil northern coast. The client desired a traditional home with modern simplicity, an open floor plan, a living room fireplace and cozy furnishings. An inclusive home where the family gathers to escape city living - a vacation retreat.

Debra Villeneuve (Debbie) created an open and humble farmhouse kitchen that exudes modern simplicity. The kitchen respects its New England costal location and accommodates group preparation. Socializing while preparing meals was essential. The design assures the fireplace can be enjoyed while dining, preparing meals and lounging.
