A beautifully constructed new house on the Mainline was waiting to be loved and made into a home. We started with very intentional decisions, surprisingly they were patterned pillows, unique lighting and the larger pieces came last. The outdoorsy couple love their lake house and wanted this home (closer to the city) to reflect the same calm atmosphere. We found it’s harder to design a very edited home, so made one bold pattern or light fixture ground the room, and the rest were supporting elements.
