this shade structure has a 2" x 2" box tube frame and wire mesh. we left the mill scale on, meaning this will rust and weather nicely. grape vines were planted at the base and within a few years, this structure will provide shade to the adjacent deck and greatly extend the hours that the outdoor space can be enjoyed in comfort.
