Living room with no light. We first located the desired position of the skylights and cut open the ceiling. We then reinforced the existing rafters. We then cut open the roof and installed the skylights. Once the exterior work was done, we built and installed wood beams to separate the skylight openings. We then installed insulation and drywall. Our last step was to finish the drywall and paint the opening to match the existing living room color.
