The site for this house is an amazing setting, perched in the trees, on an ultra-steep, waterfront lot on Lake Sammamish in Redmond, WA. This project consisted of remodeling the existing second level and adding a new 3rd story to include a bedroom, bathroom, office and media room. The exterior of the existing house as well as the new addition is clad in cement-board panels, aluminum/composite panel and Garapa wood rainscreen.
