Pierce Design was asked to help solve a few problems at this new, modern condo: gain access to the roof to clean the rain downspouts 30 feet above ground and provide a means to aleviate the summer heat that builds up in the Upper Level during warm summer months. If a small rooftop deck could be part of that solution, all the better! A ships ladder and rooftop hatch quickly presented itself as the best solution. Numerous itterations and designs were studied and a bright yellow, all steel design was chosen.
