Shooting Star

Perched in the middle of an open field and backed up against the boundary of the Grand Teton National Park, the Shooting Star House strikes a perfect balance between rusticity and elegance. The walls and beams of this 7,400 square-foot home are all made from reclaimed wood and brick. A spiral staircase to the right of the front entryway almost encourages you to immediately explore this homey and picturesque treasure. Windows will help guide you through the hallways and different rooms of the Shooting Star House. The same windows will provide intoxicating views of the Grand Tetons, and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

The most stunning feature of the Shooting Star House could arguably be the water features. Small ponds straddle the house giving the property a sense of solidarity. Stone steps will take you over the ponds and to the guest house. A spectacular water feature is embedded into wood walls that spew water out into the ponds. The water feature is a self-contained system that circulates water through a filter to keep it clean.
