Taking advantage of the sloping terrain towards the lake, a sweeping lawn was installed down to the sunning patio on the lake shore. The patio is made of blue stone pavers, displaying beautiful tones of tan and blue coloring. For evening sunsets in MIchigan, a warming fire pit was added within a gently curved retaining wall of natural stone. The clients enjoy dining outdoors and have a beautiful, private patio on which to entertain. Native perennials are planted along the natural stone steps leading to the lush, green lawn. A wonderful lakeshore view for this modernized traditional home.
