Founded in 1980 by Josh Nazmiyal, Rug & Kilim has come a long way since his beginnings in Short Hills, New Jersey. It has all been possible because of Josh’s vast knowledge of antique carpets coupled with his exemplary collection. He has carefully selected each piece for its uniqueness and beauty.
Mr. Nazmiyal’s lifelong passion for carpets inspired him to create his own pieces with the best mills in the world. With his innovative spirit he strives to create new textures and weaves using the finest exotic and unusual yarns. We now have over 100 designs that can be customized by color, fiber and pile height. He is most proud of his Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian collections. Rug & Kilim works closely with our clients to assures their needs at met and their project is a success. We can proudly say our carpets have graced the most beautiful homes around the world.
