The existing kitchen in this beautiful home was not in keeping with the rest of the decor. The home has tremendous character with detailed millwork throughout but a previous owner put in a flat panel, uninspiring kitchen. The space was completely redesigned with a recessed panel shaker incorporating a subtle profile to the inside of the frame. A high ceiling allowed the use of glass door inserts with french style mullions and antique glass to provide stunning feature display space. The introduction of walnut to the island and floating shelves at the media center provide a wonderful contrast and set off the hardwood floor.
