This is a LIFE Magazine Dream House! My clients were moving with their teenaged children and loved the house but knew that it needed quite a few updates. Prior to moving in, I had every single surface painted (including the window mullions and banister to bring architectural interest), the first floor hardwood were refinished from blonde to a rich brown and the 2nd floor carpet was removed to install hardwoods to match. We replaced all of the lighting fixtures in the home. Walls were removed to open the floor plan and the kitchen was completely renovated. We formulated a complete furnishing plan based on 3D LAYOUTS which I provide to ALL of my clients. They wanted a fresh take on traditional in this large Cape style home, and the home now expresses their personal style.
