The final choice of Fabric came from Chintz n Prints in Newtown Ct. They have loads of fabric some from the 70s. The customer found it , she wanted a beachy look. Outside of her barn (which is where these are), is her beautiful pool.
The fabric used here was so thick that I could not do welt , it also had a rubber backing. I had to streamline the design and not have a seam running around the chair , so a complete modernization of styling.
