Small Cottage Style Bathroom Remodel with fun Touches

This project was neat because it provided a great mix of function, fun and personality. This bathroom was converted from a dark, poorly used space to a bright and cheerful cottage seaside style place. Hope you like it!
In this bathroom remodeling project the main bathroom was transformed from a dark and difficult to use space to a beautiful and bright cottage style decor. The space included subway tile, beadboard walls, a nice sized vanity and porcelain/glass tile floors.

If you have a deep vintage tub with a cottage style decorative decorative grab bars are a must! This project used the Moen Kingsley line. The eclectic lighting added a fun touch and some personality as well.

Why not have fun with your bathroom floor (and save money at the same time!). This bathroom used a mix of porcelain and glass tiles (vs. a marble floor) to create a cottage style decor and a fun look at a most cost effective price.

This project used Masonite walls vs. the traditional beadboard to give an authentic cottage style look at a more cost effective price.

What you don't see can be as important as what you do see. Behind the walls of this subway tile we used the Wedi waterproof wall backer system and some extra support for the decorative grab bars. The hand held shower is also nice in this cottage style bathroom

Who said bath remodeling can't be fun! This customer wanted us to install 3 doorknobs to be used as bath towel holders - functional and fun at the same time!

There are a lot of options which make solid surface bathroom countertops the top choice. There are over 60 different colors our client had to choose from (in this project they selected a color called "serenity) with a white bowl. The calming colors were a good choice for this cottage style decor.

It's nice when you can keep the old and add new elements which seemlessly fit in together. In this project we kept our customer's 1919 vintage tub, added stylish subway tiles, a porcelain tile floor with glass tiles and a nice white cabinet with a solid surface top.

This bathroom before was not pretty and the function left a lot to be desired. The pedestal sink provided minimal counter space and storage was a challenge. The bathroom was also dark with outlets in very strange places (check out the ceiling here!).

This vintage style tub provided a very cool feature to work with - but not much else was looking too nice! The walls really needed a waterproof backer system and the cast iron tub also needed to be refinished.
