A series of courtyard gardens located on family farmland in the Skagit valley, Washington State. These gardens surround the home sheltering from seasonal winds while embracing the beautiful surrounding farmlands. The gardens are designed to tie the home into the surrounding countryside while creating individual rooms with multiple exposures for sun and views. Photos by Ian Gleadle
