How does Solar Work?

1. Solar Panels
Sunlight hits the solar panels and a chemical reaction takes place creating DC Power.

2. AC Inverter
The power flows through the inverter which changes the Direct Current into AC usable power for the home.

3. Consumption
Your home actively uses the power the solar system creates no different than it did with the utility company.

4. Overproduction
The solar system will produce more power than needed to help you at night and in the summer when you need more.

5. Utility Buyback
The overproduced power is purchased back from the utility company and paid back to you.
