Sophisticated Master Bathroom Remodel

When we were asked by this couple in our hometown of La Grange, IL to help design their new bathroom, we jumped at the opportunity.

The house was built back in the ’80s and the upstairs bathroom hadn’t had a full remodel in many years. It was about time for a refresh.

To accentuate the double bowl vanity, we selected a single large mirror with beveled edges. The simplicity of the design helps give the bathroom a refined look.

Instead of going with the standard white cabinets like you are seeing all over Pinterest, we decided to mix it up a bit and install a dark double sink vanity with furniture-grade details. To keep the space from feeling too dark, we installed white wainscot along the walls of the master bathroom.
