Spanish colonial bathroom
Our clients wanted a more functional space while maintaining the style of the original house which was built in 1929. Houses in this time period were typically small in square footage with one bathroom. The clients endured many years with an old cast iron tub and a pedestal sink which was original to the house, complete with hot and cold separate faucets. They were more than ready for an update that would not only accommodate (2) people but would also include all modern amenities . We increased the area by capturing a closet in a near by bedroom. Thereby giving them enough room for (2) sinks, storage and a nice size tub and shower enclosure. We incorporated a custom stained glass window and Gothic arches and Mission tiles to highlight the period design.
