Sparrowwood

This transformation was no small task for sure but well worth the effort! The clients are a family of eight that is steadily adding to it's numbers. Needing a design that was functional for large gatherings and reflective of their lifestyle, we embarked on a journey to create the perfect space. Take a look at the before and after floorplans to see just how much changed!

Sparrowwood
For this space we used light gray base cabinets (Gray Owl) and white (Steam) uppers/fridge wall cabinetry. The Crate and Barrel Nolan pendants draw your eyes up to the ceiling where we installed hand hewn wood beams with a custom stain applied. For the flooring, we used Mixwax Rustic Beige.

Lot's of depth and texture here. The wood beams from Barron Designs not only adding a pop to the ceiling but the way they tie in with the tile from Architessa and the custom stucco vent hood is awesome!

For a large family a mudroom with a drop zone was a must. We were able to incorporate a bench seat and drop zone as you enter from the garage with a scullery kitchen/pantry giving them optimum storage and functionality.

The cabinets are from Cuisine Ideale in the color New Gray. We decided to carry this color onto the trim to give them a more seamless look as it carries into the bench seating area.

Oversized shower tiles are a wonderful thing if you dread cleaning grout lines. These 24x48 polished porcelain tiles are a dream and paired with the dark 12x24 shower pan it makes cleaning a breeze.
