This was such a fun project. Originally a home office, the client wanted to completely transform this room into a home bar and speakeasy. The biggest challenge was the size of the room at only 300 Sqft. He wanted the room to exude a moody and sexy vibe like a Parisian Hotel Bar. We decided on almost black from BM for wall color, accented by Anna French wallpaper on one wall. New dark wide-plank hardwood floors were installed. We added a pop of color in the custom velvet teal swivel chars. The ceiling light and wall sconces are both architectural and artsy adding a dramatic ambiance to the space. A custom made bar by Bruce Custom Woodworking was designed in almost black with oil bronzed finishes. The client wanted a large artwork above the custom sofa, and we found this vintage Bally poster which was an incredible addition to that sexy vibe.
