Spring St Renovation

This 1893 Cannonborough home in downtown Charleston was in need of repairs both inside and out. This renovation was done for it's new owner/architect and brought many modern touches while keeping it's orginal detail.
Custom pickets were made by Brush Creek Woodworks to replace missing or broken ones to keep the original look of the house

The newly stuccoed wall and a new fence to replace the chain link, upgraded the corner of Spring St and Kracke St

The existing exterior doors were stripped of many layers of paint and stained to bring out their originial detail

An existing rear addition was repaired and a deck added where a block detached garage once stood

The floor joists and an old brick chimeny were both exposed to blend old features with new in this modern kitchen
