St Lucia Apartment

This 4 bedroom, two bathroom St Lucia apartment is more townhouse than apartment. With three outdoor living zones and plenty of natural light it had the opportunity to become a beautiful space. While the space sounds large on paper the floor plan had proved difficult for the owner to navigate due to multiple doors and a narrow floor plan. Additionally , there was the added requirements of three grown sons who came and went, regular entertaining, a love for retro colour palettes and two large blue recliners to incorporate into the design. The outcome was a beautiful tropical space that the owner is loving.

Grey has been incorporated through the rugs and sofa to soften the space and balance the airforce blue in the armchairs and dining chairs. This is the Armadillo & Co braid weave rug which is lovely underfoot and provides beautiful pattern.

A wider angle of the dining shows the sean dix retro style dining table paired with airforce blue and brass dining tables. The round dining table with a glass top was chosen to make the space feel more open. The grey sofa with a west elm cushion to the left continues the softer colour palette.

The colour palette has been continued into the courtyard using retro blue dining chairs. Mother in laws tongue continues that retro feel and accommodates the clients needs of a "care for itself" type of plant. The colour on the wall was chosen to reflect the colour of the kitchen cabinets...

A vine weave Wisteria bed head in coffee bean against the white wall continues the tropical feel, while the throw adds a little touch of retro. Blue cushions pull the colour palette through to the bedroom.
