Like many older homes, this basement came with challenges, low ceilings, exposed ductwork, and a cramped layout that limited how the space could be used. We redesigned the floor plan and relocated mechanicals to make the basement feel more open and inviting. A mix of open and drywalled ceilings adds variety and helps define different areas of the space.

The result is a bright, functional lower level where the homeowners can host friends, enjoy family time, and pursue hobbies. What was once dark and awkward is now a beautiful extension of their home.
