Stable adpative re-use project.

The project converts a stable, once part of the original estate on Centre Island, Oyster Bay into a four bedroom residence. The original stucco building was preserved with the original exterior details preserved.

The stairs go up and over the entry vestibule and expose the original hay loft doors above. The original stable doors flank the entry with mill work below and the arch top windows to match the original doors above.

Opposite the entry below the stair landing the french doors open to a view of the bay.

The original stable ventilation cupola's louvers have been replace with windows. The cupola becomes a lantern providing light above the stairway.
