Right so this one is named Stacey. She's a pavilion made for a project where us students were told to consider how rainwater would flow off of a roof as well as interact with the ground by a lakeside. She is also at 1/8th scale.

all of these photos were taken from the rooftop of my dorm at golden hour, if you were wondering.

You'll notice that the base slopes towards the "water;" that is intentional. People are generally drawn to places in spaces where there is water, seating spaces, or climbable structures that they can interact with.

The framing is actually supposed to be on the underside of the roof-structure; mistakes were made (-_-;)

The little box and cross-shaped items you see are meant to be a cafe space; our instructor loved coffee and wanted us to integrate a little social energy in our spaces with this minuscule restaurant modeled out of a shipping container.

I quite liked the shadows created by the framing across the roof.

Stacey is made of the usual basswood, Bristol paper, and chipboard I often use in my models.

We were required to leave the graphite guidelines on the base; if I had my way I may have omitted them.
