Staging June 2015

This townhouse was an estate clearing and was vacant when we came in to finish emptying the home contents and to stage it for sale. With limited time, we brought in a full truck of furniture, art and accessories to stage the home in a fresh and contemporary style. Working with the red and gold wallpaper in the living room and dining room (Right out of the 70s!), we added light coloured elements such as a couch and dining chairs, as well as a full length mirror to brighten and refresh the space. The wrought iron "room divider" was taken out to improve flow. We clearly purposed each bedroom to appeal to young families and couples who were the target buyer for this home.

We got rid of the wrought iron room divider and heavy drapes to open up the space and let in the light. We brought in contemporary furniture with a pop of colour for visual interest.

We took out the double bed and brought in a twin bed to create another child's bedroom. Since this home was being marketed to young couples and families, it was important to have the bedrooms staged properly for maximum appeal.

We took out the twin beds and brought in the double bed from the other room to create a proper master bedroom. The heavy drapes were replaced with light grey panels and we added bright modern bedding to update the space.

By adding a new shower curtain and bath mat, flowers and accessories, this bathroom went from dingy to fresh.

This unappealing back patio was overgrown with weeds. We took care of those and added in some colourful flower planters, a bright outdoor carpet and some patio furniture to create a backyard oasis.
