Here is an older stairway in dire need of a serious facelift and that is exactly what it received. It began with the removal of the previous layers of polyurethane by means of careful sanding in lieu of utilizing harsh chemicals. The residual dust was subsequently HEPA vacuumed for a clean surface upon which to apply the Bona stain and ultimately three coats of commercial grade satin Bona Traffic waterborne anti-slip finish. The risers were then converted to white with Benjamin Moore Scuff-X satin premium paint for both aesthetics and ultimate durability.
