Stevenson Creek Remodel
This beach home on Stevenson Creek in Clearwater involved a full gut and remodel of the in-law suite as well as the main home. Logistically, this required some strategic planning, as the home was in a FEMA flood zone. Before the interior remodel, we had to pour a new foundation and raise the guest house on solid concrete piers in order to bring it above the flood plane.
The remodel of the guest home included an open rafter look, with everything fully insulated using polyicynene spray foam. The main home included a number of custom design features, including concrete countertops in the kitchen and craftsman-style details on the trim.
It is undoubtedly the perfect Florida beach home, with gorgeous views of Stevenson Creek and a hop, skip and a jump from the Intracoastal Waterway.
