Stikwood Space Transformation
What's not to love about Stikwood? This is now the 3rd stikwood wall I have installed myself. This time, it was finally in my own home! The house already had the Old Florida, cottage character. I knew stikwood would only enhance that feel. I used the Reclaimed weathered wood grey. I wanted to keep things light and I had just had the complete interior painted white. It was a complete coincidence, but the large framed mirror matched The Reclaimed Weathered Wood Grey as if I planned it. I had painted the frame recently with Annie Sloan's French Linen and Pure White Chalk Paint.
In a matter of hours a beginner can install a whole wall of real reclaimed wood. Each piece of wood has peel and stick tape on the back. Just peel and stick. The tape is uber strong though, once you stick it, it's not coming off! We have also installed Stikwood in a less permanent way by nailing it to the wall with itty bitty nails. The stikwood can then be easily removed and used again.
