We rebuilt this 19th century complex of three barns for a local estate. The two sheds which flank the courtyard serve the farm; and serve as tractor shed, workshop, gardener's work space, and storage. The half-stone, half-wood barn was deteriorated, we redesigned and rebuilt it as a combined garage and gallery/party space. New steel windows and doors were introduced, and new douglas fir was used structurally and for all the interior finishes. The old 18 inch thick fieldstone walls were repaired and repointed.
