A new beach house and family getaway for a repeat client!

We are very familiar with coastal construction from regulatory, design and practical standpoints (most architects are not and get overwhelmed, which create cost and schedule issues). This is just one house of dozens we have designed at the beach, many repeat clients! In fact this house was in construction through Hurricane / Superstorm Sandy and we think its stronger for it!

Also the needs and wants of beach/ vacation homes are oftentimes different from our primary homes, with more focus on communal spaces and less on bedrooms. Baths become very important when 10 people come back from the beach at once and all (or almost all) want to shower and get ready before going out for dinner. We understand these differences.

Fun fact- situated on a barrier island, it is one of the few locations in New Jersey that affords both an ocean and a bay view.
