Streams and water falls pose the greatest artistic challenge for water features. There are myriad physical forces that shape channels and falls that rarely render a stream in constant width, depth or speed. The viewer may not be aware of any of these factors, but yet they can feel them when they compare what they see versus what they have historically seen in nature or at least nature in print. Our responsibility is to know the minutia and bring nature to the beholder.
