Frequently, we are approached by clients who have an old, dark bathroom that doesn’t meet their needs and inspires nothing but gloom and dread. They are shocked to discover how easily a space of almost any size can be transformed into a bathroom that makes their house a better place to live.

In this bathroom, the floor plan was compact and every inch needed to count. A wall-mounted, double vanity offers a significant upgrade in storage while requiring only 18 inches of depth. By removing an old built-in shower/tub unit, we were able to create a walk-in rain shower that expands the space. Clean lines, the liberal use of white tile, and the spa-inspired blue glass insert, along with LED lighting, brighten this fresh new bath. The IMO single-lever chrome faucets and Kubic double sconces provide distinct design touches to complete the composite counter with built-in wash basins.

Looking at the “before” and “after” shots, it’s almost tough to believe this is the same house, never mind the same room.
