This bathroom was completely un functional for several years. We completely gutted the space, removed the wall tile wainscoting, removed bulkheads above the vanity and shower.
We originally desired to enlarge the shower the full width, but budget restrictions didn't allow for mechanicals to be that extensively moved. Therefore, we opened up the space as much as possible and created the storage cubbies, which comes in very handy in a smaller bathroom where storage is limited.
