For the renovation, JHDS worked with Sullivan’s Island-based Ilderton Contracting to gut the entire first floor and rework the existing layout, creating more of a flow from the inside to out and significantly increasing the outdoor porch space. The renovation included the kitchen, primary bath and powder room.

The inspiration for this project marries the travels, interests, and hobbies of the homeowners with Jill Howard’s love of playing with color and pattern and combining various styles to create spaces that are full of personality, well-edited and welcoming.
