Front Entry
This is the tower hatchway. it allows the client a view that soars over the lake. The owners own fabricators made the unit and a set of pistons allow the hatch to be operated easily.
Outdoor Hatch
The open space is broken up with a true colar tie wrapped in pre-finished oak trim with a Stick Victorian flavor. Marvin windows done with a cottage SDL grill finish the space
Gorgeous beam and vaulted sitting room
The owner had three china cabinets that had to be consolidated into the new home so added care was given to providing display areas - this cabinet we built around the stair case - Giving this basic space a tiered appearance
Cable Stairway
This open plan is set up on a 45 degree angle to allow for maximum connection to each other and views to the lake. The arts and crafts kitchen is flanked by a Sapele cable rail stair case.
Open Kitchen and Dining
This hallway has been elevated by the use of an upper floor cathedral to bring daylight into the back hall; the installation of pre-finished trim allowed the home to have a custom feeling with out breaking the budget and the built in nitch allows for a nice display
Wood Panneled Hallway
This Sun Room is panneled with a painted dutch lap wood siding and a traditional window and door casing giving it a lake cottage feeling
Enclosed Sunroom
This entry was constructed of pre-finished panels and cabinets installed by the trim carpenter. The simple trim reflects the mixing of the late victorian and crafts styles
Pre-finished Wood Mudroom
This is the interior of the tower room. It is approx 45'-0" above the ground and affords the owner a 360 degree view of the lake and surroundings. The seats are leather captains chairs w/ a ship ladder going up to a widows walk.

This lake level kitchen is all about relaxed simple living - From the stained and glazed concrete floors to the open stairs - This is a space made for simple living.
Kitchen
The client needed a work space that would allow her to be connected to the home and lake but yet afford her the privacy she needed. This work space also doubles as a guest bedroom space - The skylights make it the brightest attic you have ever been in.
Galley seating
This neat little nitch affords a great temptation to put the cares of the world on hold. I really love the mix of wood and paint of railing.
Reading Nook
This traditional trim in the master suite creates a space for private thoughts while taking in the lake views.
Bedroom
The exterior lake access and living space on this lake home afford the owner many different types of living activites - from a birds eye view in the tower to the dock deck and grill.
