Designed by the architect homeowner, this home was completely rebuilt to answer to the surrounding Berkeley Hills. Features of this home include a robust envelope, sun-shading louvers, insulating glass, and rainwater catchment and filtration system. All custom cabinetry by Henrybuilt. The design was inspired by the couple's experience in Scandinavia and Japan.

This home was featured on the 2017 AIA East Bay Home Tour.
