Our initial design process is a collaborative effort with the client and architect. Because the space was on a hillside we wanted to establish the elevation with the steps - which created the opportunity for rooms and spaces for their outdoor living spaces. The clients gave us a design program, letting us know how they use their outdoor space and what they wanted to have included in their outdoor landscape. Based on their needs and wants we designed various spaces with a natural stone mountain landscape.

We were even able to use the drainage to establish a seasonal spring, which is shown in the Natural Stone Mountain Landscape project.
