The thing about Melbourne houses is that a lot of them lack natural lighting, so when we saw the dark-colored walls of this bedroom, as well as the dark-colored furniture, we immediately knew a switch to lighter colors was mandatory. We kept the classical bed, but refurbished it along with the night stands to add a touch of contemporary twist.
