Sunset Boulevard

The homeowner wanted a Tuscan kitchen with barn red cabinetry. We created this wonderful space and loved every minute of it.

The original kitchen and powder bath were gutted to create this fabulous space! Cabinetry is custom built and features a tobocco glaze on the barn red paint.

We found this great table to serve as an island and it works wonderfully.

The set of cabinetry in the right of the photo was originally only 12" deep. We moved the door into the dining room down 6", enabling us to create 18" deep cabinetry. Fabulous storage!!

The backsplash and vent hood are a focal point!

This backsplash was so much fun to create! The focal point is made of 2x2 hand made tiles. I made a life size mockup that we worked from. Background tiles are Travertine 12x12 mesh mounted in a mini Versailles pattern.

I designed this cabinet to serve as a mud room would serve. Notice the cork board back wall, baskets for storage and chalkboard paint on the inside of the doors.

This desk area has a second surface that can slide out and pop into place so the desk has more work surface. A request by the homeowner.
