This mural features the Suleymaniye Mosque in Turkey. A truly multicultural family, my clients are of East African and Pakistani decent, while the wife grew up in Canada. I selected the famous Turkish mosque to represent their deeply spiritual side in the mural. The Canadian geese flying over head represent the wife's Canadian roots. We kept the composition of the mural simple to create a meditative space. We selected a sunset color scheme as this room faces the sunset and has beautiful glowing light in the late afternoon.
